Results

1. Tomoaki Honma vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr.
Davey Boy pinned Honma after a #BetterThanBatista sit-out powerbomb. There’s was pretty much no doubting the ending to this one. Either Honma wins on the last day or not at all. Good match though. For those counting, Honma is 12/29 successful Kokeshi.

2. Lance Archer vs. Yujiro Takahashi
Takahashi attacked Archer’s leg before the bell. He worked the leg throughout the match. After two consecutive low blows, Takahashi rolled up Archer in a small package for the win. Good thing he worked the leg?

3. Yuji Nagata vs. Doc Gallows
Doc “The Butterfly” Gallows. That facepaint. Gallows wins with the Gallows Pole. Nothing special here.

4. Togi Makabe vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan
Makabe got the win with the King Kong Knee Drop in a good battle between the two evenly matched veterans.

5. Tetsuya Naito vs. Minoru Suzuki
Naito tapped out to Saka Otoshi giving Suzuki the victory. Best match on the show after Honma and Davey Boy. Naito is great, but Suzuki is a monster.

6. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Bad Luck Fale
Fale hit the Grenade on the ring apron. AS Shibata was making his way back into the ring, Fale knocked him back down, and Shibata ended up being counted out. Fale wins by count-out. Huge heat for that.

7. Satoshi Kojima vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakumra won with a huge jumping Boma Ye. Really good match. Earlier on, Kojima his his big Cozy Lariat but Nakamura kicked out. Nakamura also hit a BomayYe off the second rope but Kojima kicked out. Good stuff.

8. A.J. Styles vs. Karl Anderson
Anderson lay down for Styles, but when Styles went for the pin, Anderson tried to roll him up. Anderson apologised and shook hands with Styles, but Styles went for a quick roll up of his own. Even stevens. Fun start to the match.
Anderson hit a huge fireman carry Gun Stun off the middle ropes. Styles locked in the Calf Killer but Anderson made it to the ropes. Anderson hit the Bernard Driver for two. Styles hit Bloody Sunday, quickly followed by the Styles Clash for the win. Good match.

9. Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Shelton Benjamin
Good match here with Tanahashi picking up the in with the High Fly Flow. Benjamin looked strong in defeat. At one point he military pressed Tanahashi and dropped him on the rails. Benjamin got the ankle lock on a couple of times but Tanahashi escaped it each time.

10. Kazuchika Okada vs. Hirooki Goto
Awesome match. Okada won with the Rainmaker. Goto did a great reversal where he reversed Okada’s Rainmaker into a short arm headbutt. Goto hit Ushikoroshi and a reverse Ushikoroshi but was’t able to hit Shouten Kai to put Okada away.
