Wrestling With Movies Episode 7: Wrestling With Road House

wrestling with movies 2007

Hey there, and welcome to Wrestling With Movies, the show where I (Zach, sometimes known as Koala Mask for some reason) am joined by a special guest to talk about a movie starring a pro wrestler. Got it? Goodie!

As always, special thanks to Bill Sours for the great into music (except for this episode because we forgot to add it).

You can listen to the show on iTunes and Soundcloud And hey, if you enjoyed the show, please leave a nice review.

Wrestling With Road House

On this ep, Zach is joined once again by PWN Radio’s very own Martin to talk about the 1989 Patrick Swayze classic, Road House. If you like philosophical bouncers and bar fights, this is the movie for you! Also, it’s got Terry Funk basically playing himself if he hadn’t become a wrestler! Take a look at the trailer (which contains a record number of spots that aren’t actually in the film):

Some Notes:

  • There’s a straight to DVD sequel called Road House 2 that looks absolutely atrocious and doesn’t have any wrestlers so there’s no chance in hell I’m going to watch it.

  • Click here to see where Road House comes in on the World Movieweight Championship list.
